Great to see another application coming together. When completed, this Membrane BioReactor (MBR) system will treat up to 50,000 USgpd (200 m3/d) of domestic wastewater from a housing development in the Pacific North-west. With effluent from the first phase of development being discharged to surface water and then for irrigation at a nearby farm in the second phase, the quality of the treated water was top of mind at all stages of design. An emerging new normal in these water stressed regions, better late than never. With such strict effluent requirements as a new normal for these water stressed region - better late than never - the MBR was the only viable technology for the application.
